Step #1: Prepare all the things you’ll need.

You will need to gather ingredients and materials such as 2 tbsp granulated cane sugar, 1 package unflavored gelatin, ½ cup water, small saucepan, 2 quart saucepan, 6 cups water and slotted spoon. You will also need 1 ripe tomato, saucer, blender, 1 tbsp orange juice, 1 tbsp lemon juice, skin cleanser, small plastic container with self sealing lid.

Step #2: Combine together the unflavored gelatin and granulated cane sugar.

Sugar is important to the mixture because this is a source of glycolic acid which makes it an important skin peel agent. The unflavored gelatin will add thickness to the skin peel.

Step #3: Pour in ½ cup of water into the mixture.

Heat while stirring continuously the gelatin and sugar until thoroughly dissolved. Allow to cool for a few minutes and pour the gelatin mixture into your blender.

Step #4: Prepare your saucepan.

Pour in 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. When water starts boiling, add the ripe tomato and leave it in the boiling water until you see that skin is bursting and begins to curl. Tomatoes are great for the skin because it helps restore the natural pH balance of the skin.

Step #5: Get a container and fill it up with cold water.

Drop the still hot tomato into the water-filled container and let it cool down for a few minutes. When the tomato is cold enough, peel its skin off.

Step # 6: Cut the skinless tomato into four.

Put it inside the blender including any juice left, and add the sugar, orange juice and lemon juice. Blend until thoroughly mixed and the formula become smooth and creamy. Citrus fruits are good sources of Alpha Hydroxy acids. Get a small plastic container with a sealing lid and pour in the blended mixture.

Step #7: Prepare your face for the skin peel application.

Before using your homemade skin peel mixture, wash your face first with a gentle cleanser to remove any grease. Then start applying it to your face from your forehead, cheeks and chin up to the nose. Massage your face but do not put too much pressure while doing this and avoid getting the mixture into your eyes.

Step #8: Take time to relax.

Sit back and relax for at least 10 minutes. Rinse your face with water and pat dry after you have relaxed.

Test your skin peel at home formula in a certain skin area before using because some people are sensitive to citric acid found in lemons and oranges. If you feel that your face is getting hot or is stinging, rinse immediately and reduce the lemon or orange juice the next time you mix your skin peel formula.
